Changes and the beach

There are about to be some changes in my day to day routine because I have a new job, and I am very excited about it! I am now going to working at Citizen’s National Bank as a part time teller. I’ll work through school! I can’t wait to start.

Ok, so that was the change because instead of sleeping late and doing whatever I want to, I now have a job to get up and go to! Hello routine! I can’t wait to have one again!!

Last weekend, I was at the beach!! Yeah, don’t go getting all jealous because it rained the WHOLE time we were there! Ok, almost. It was sunny and breezy Monday! I went to the beach with my neighbor and her girls! Julianna is their normal babysitter, but she had just gotten back from the beach and was trying to finish school, so I went with them! I went along to help because traveling with a seven year old and a three month old is kinda hard! HA! Anyway, we had a great time! Tracy’s cousin was getting married on Monday, so we went a few days early to spend on the beach, but that didn’t really happen. We ended up going shopping on Saturday, and we visited with her family on Sunday!

Monday was the wedding day. We did spend the morning on the beach though, and it was so fun! I am so used to just going to lay out and read my book that I forget what it’s like to be a child going to the beach! The waves are so much fun to them. We jumped lots of waves and boogie boarded a lot too! I had fun reliving my child hood! We spent the rest of the day at the pool because they had to get the beach ready for the wedding.

Ya’ll know I’m a sucker for a good wedding, but being at the beach makes it even better. I want to get married at the beach! I always have. Anyway, the ceremony was so sweet, and everything was so nice!

Tuesday, we had to pack up and go home! AND to top it all off, it was BEAUTIFUL outside! That makes it SO much harder to leave. We left about 9 which was only an hour after our intended time, and we got home around 3. We only stopped twice! With little ones that is a miracle! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

M.I.A.

It's been forever since I have been in blog world. I will continue with my 30 day challenge on Tuesday. I've been M.I.A. because I've been be lazy. Sleeping really late, grabbing a quick lunch, and laying on the beach ALL day. Like until the sun goes down. Yes, that's right. I have been in Florida all week for Spring Break. It is so nice to get away from the "real" world and have some down time. My mom, sister, brother, myself, and Julianna all went down on Sunday. We met my cousin, Sarah, later that night. My aunt drove in on Tuesday.

 The weather was absolutely beautiful!! It was in the low to mid 70's everyday. I wish I was one of those photo oriented people and took a picture every night we went out, but I didn't. I gave that job to Julianna! Check her blog in the next couple of days for lots of pictures!! I do have a few that i have stolen from her!

When we are on vacation, we don't have a schedule, so I could sit on the beach until the sun went down and then go get ready for supper. It was soooo nice!!

I stalked this life guard with Julianna's camera on the last day. He was just sooo cute. There was another one, but i didn't get a good picture of him. He was super cute too, and he was in the Army. Another plus! Too bad, i'm just a tourist. Maybe he'll be there in the Summer when we go back!

 I ended my SB 2011 by eating dinner on Saturday night with one of my favorite families, Ben, Ashia, and Austin. It was so sweet of them to ask me over. I got to play with Baby A for a while. She is growing like a weed and making me feel soooo old!! She is such a big girl now.

It was definitely not fun to have to set my alarm clock for the first time in a week last night. Oh well, only 6 more weeks of school, and then Summer... Oh wait, I'll be in Summer school..

30 Day Blog Challenge. Day 20: A place that you love.

I LOVE the beach. I love going. We go every year at the end of the summer with my mom’s sisters, and it is something that I look forward to all year long! I love being with family, laying on the beach and reading a good book, and getting all dressed up to go out to eat!  

Sorry I’ve been MIA. My internet isn’t the best when I am at home, so it sometimes takes a while to get a post to go through! Hope your weekend was great! I started off my Monday by over sleeping. Stupid alarm clock! Have a happy Monday!
